To maintain security levels at the end point, such as a laptop or desk top computer, ATG recommend various different tried and tested solutions.

Anti-Virus

For anti-virus protection we recommend Kaspersky Open Space security products which can be deployed onto multiple computers and servers and we can create policies to ensure the correct settings are always applied.

We can generate reports to show which computers have had infections to show where potential problems may exist.

We can also set up notifications to alert ATG when a machine has not updated its virus definitions to help eliminate the risk of virus attacks on your network.

Malware & Spyware

Anti-virus alone is not enough to ensure the complete protection of your computers. There are numerous threats, all of which ATG can assist with protection against.

We use and recommend some of the industry leading software packages to protect against malware and spyware attacks, therefore protecting your sensitive company data.

Microsoft Updates (OS updates)

You also need to ensure operating system (OS) updates are installed as soon as they become available. These usually contain important updates against known security risks.

ATG can implement a network policy to ensure computers are always kept up to date with the latest releases from Microsoft.

In larger organisations we can deploy Microsoft WSUS to keep internet bandwidth usage for updates to a minimum. With this application the updates are downloaded only once to your server, they are then managed from here to determine which updates need to be applied to which workstations.

We can schedule a convenient time to update your computers and even run reports to show which updates are missing from a particular computer.

Physical Security

All of the above security measures are necessary to ensure the protection of your business data; however one area that can be overlooked is the physical security of your business servers.

ATG can assist with recommending the precautions that should be taken to ensure you have the maximum levels of data back-up and physical security protection available.
